Spotlight on Block 4: Joyful Energy in Every Stitch

This 18" beauty practically sings with holiday cheer. With its striking arrows and bold centers, it combines classic piecing with modern movement. The palette—featuring Bella Solids in true Christmas tones like bright red, evergreen, icy aqua, and crisp white—adds a dash of whimsy and timelessness. The thing I love about this block is there are so many different ways to layout your fabrics and get completely different styles.

Whether you’re sewing this as part of the Joyful colorway or making it your own, the block’s strong design and generous size make it a perfect centerpiece—or an unforgettable building block.

This block was made by Chelair Etter using the Warm & Cozy Bella -Light version. Chelair is an incredible piecer. She also starches her fabrics making the final outcome crisp and so presice. AMAZING !

This color version features Ruby Star Society basics including Starry and Speckled. Super fun and a bit of whimsy.
